Studying/Test Taking Tips
Hey guys! It's Cee here!
I hope everyone is enjoying their week. Well we all know part of college is exams. We have to take exams to get into college, we have to take exams while in college, and we have to take exams to get certified or to get into graduate school. As much as we hate them, exams are part of college!

Take Breaks! Yes please take breaks! You need time for your brain to relax. It goes along with cramming. If you try to remember all the information at once, odds are you are not going to remember anything! & We do not want that do we? So take breaks. Study for an hour, take a half hour break.
Eat a good breakfast! Okay I know you heard this one before! But it is true. Eat a good breakfast in the morning before your test and you will have enough energy to knock that bad boy out the park!
Get a good nigh sleep! Yes, you heard this one before too, but studies prove that when you get a good night sleep, you will perform better. Why? Well your rested of course! No one wants to take and exam tired.
Hope this helps all your lovely collegiates!

"Me Time"
Hey guys,
Of course
academics should come first but so should YOU ! This is something I personally
learned the hard way. I am involved in countless clubs/organisations and I also
work on campus. So when I am not in class, I’m either working, holding a meeting
for a club, planning out signature events, holding a program or doing various
activities around campus. I know
it sounds like a lot and I should probably not get as involved, I just can’t
help myself. If you’re like me and like to get involved, you might find yourself
over stressed or overwhelmed most of the time (especially when you add homework,
papers, projects, presentations and group projects to the list).
Trust me you are not alone! I had a semi melt
down before I realize that everyone else was occupying my time, that I had
forgotten to make time for myself. As one of my many life mentors told me, “Stop,
breath, and have some me time. It is okay to be selfish ones in a while. Sometimes
we are so occupied in our busy schedule, that we neglect ourselves. Then our
mind and body shut down. How will things get done if we shut down?”
Since then, I have tried to schedule some “Me
Time” once a week. “Me Time” is a time dedicated to do something you want to
do! It can be any activity that you find relaxing .Those activities can be going to get
your nails done, going on a hike, going to the gym, having a girl’s night out,
or just simply reading a good book while drinking tea. Whatever you’re into,
make sure you make time for it. You are definitely worth it! Trust me no matter
how busy your schedule might look, there is always room for “Me Time”. Even if it is just ten or fifteen minutes, those are your minutes to do something just for you.So I challenge all of you to schedule “Me Time” once a week in your
life schedule. I am sure your mind and body will thank you!
Kay here! With summer coming to an end and assignment piling up, it is
important to remember to just stop, breath, and have some “Me Time”! I know
many of us might have a crazy class schedule to begin with and on top we
decided to add sports, clubs, committees, organizations and/or work! All of
these combine may sometimes, add up to more hours than there are in a day.
